Find\nPictures & Videos of the DJ<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Check if the Venue has a Noise\nLimiter<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Some venues have a sound limiter or\nnoise limiter. In fact, it\u2019s a legal requirement in some countries. These\ndevices will cut the power if the music or the noise gets too loud. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

DJs can usually reach up to 100 dB\nwhen playing. However, if the venue has a sound limiter set 85 dB and 95 dB\nthey can usually accommodate for it. Definitely check with the DJ directly for\nhis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

6.\nGet A Contract<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A DJ should operate under a contract agreed on by both parties (pun intended) and you should make sure to get one. This protects both parties from any monetary or legal misunderstanding. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, we\u2019re at the mercy of\nunforeseeable circumstances. Although you most likely won\u2019t need your backup\nplan, it\u2019s always prudent to have one. In particular, as the DJ is central to\nthe event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, check with the venue if\nthey have a spare amp and be ready to plug in your playlist if the DJ\u2019s car\nbreaks down. Keep it simple and keep the fun going.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When making the reservation, it\u2019s also worth checking with the entertainer if they provide a back-up plan. If they can\u2019t make the event, do they offer a full refund? Make sure this is also stated in the contract.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
